I want to share my candid thoughts About Halo Reach. If Halo Reach is your first take only at that series, you'll actually be starting from the beginning of the story, as this is truly a prequel. If you've played previous Halo games, you might be surprised when i was to learn in which four of the thirteen multiplayer maps were revived from previous games. But don't let that cool you off, with a revamped gaming engine, these legacy maps will be your go down memory lane.
September 14, 2010... A day that perhaps changed the world of gaming with one of the biggest releases of them all, Halo: Reach, one of the most anticipated games of this day in addition to age. The Halo series began in late 2000 with the release of Halo: Combat Evolved. At the time connected with its' release, Halo: CE was absolutely groundbreaking, both in graphical quality and gameplay.
Halo Reach is without question the most anticipated first-person shooter in 2010 for 360 users, and you play the character "Noble 6" to defeat the cause of all that's evil, the Covenant. This time around, you're getting an unfair advantage with permanent power-ups instead of the temporary upgrades back in Halo 3. Now you can investigate the coolest new toys and games that include a hologram, jetpack, active camo, sprinting, and armor-lock for invincibility. If a revamped selection of weaponry keeps you yawning, don't worry, Halo Reach has more!
A decade later, we see the release of Reach. For those of us which were playing since the Halo: CE days, it's like a dream come true. I believe that Reach delivered far and outside of what anyone expected. The campaign comes close to bringing tears to your eyes and the gameplay goes back to their amazing roots and plays almost identically to Halo: CE, the health system is just like Halo: CE's and we also be aware of the return of the beloved Halo: CE Magnum that fires as fast as you can pull the trigger (ohio so satisfying). All this coupled with all the new "Armor Abilities" repair shop and ridiculously detailed graphics make for some pretty (outrageously epic, awe-inspiring, ground-shaking, mind-blowing) fun and intense gameplay.
What's great about the game is that every game mode is linked very well. The game also provides extensive options to customize. It's a great cooperative play. One of the best things about Halo: Reach is the menu system that's refined that include the main game play mode and the condition of your friends playing the game. It also allows you to undergo their service records and allows you to invite them to your own party.
Included with Halo 3, Forge World has made its own comeback in Halo Reach. This level creator lets you edit these multiplayer maps that come with the game, or you can start from scratch. On the topic with multiplayer, you can filter ones gaming choices with Load outs and Vetos. At last you customize your selected armor and weapons apparel at spawn time. Veto sets your preferred map and game design and style. As in the real life, money talks in Halo's world (in the form of credits) by way of customizing your armor with credits earned during matches.
One of the main new features about Halo Reach is the "Armor Abilities" mechanic that I spoke of earlier. This feature allows the ball player to have one spoke of earlier for his/her character that lasts for a brief time period of time. The powers are as follows;
Sprint - Umm... You run fast!
Armor Lock - Produces an impenetrable shield that envelops your personality
JetPack - Do I should really explain?
Invisibility/Active Camo - Makes purple monkeys appear that eat your enemies.. No, just kidding, it makes you unseen obviously
Evade - Similar to Sprint, but you duck and roll to receive around quickly or dodge oncoming sticky 'nades
Hologram - Allows you to help send out a holographic copy of yourself to trick your enemies (it works rather effectively and will annoy this #?! out of you when you are against people that know how make use of it efficiently..)
Drop Shield - Your Spartan drops his shield and does a picture-perfect bend and snap to pick it up, distracting your enemies along the way so that your allies can get them as they gawk at your seductive position. This method is very best when used by a female Spartan. On a serious notice though, you deploy a bubble shield from Halo 3. around you that deflects bullets, similar to the bubble shield from Halo 3.
As I'm sure you can imagine, these abilities add a lot for the gameplay and entertainment value of this online game. If you are intelligent, you can use the crooks to turn the tide in the battle. If you aren't intelligent, you can provide your fellow players with some great entertainment by rolling off the edge of the map with Evade, or awkwardly armor-locking in the middle of the battlefield while everyone just stares on you, wondering what the #? *! you are doing…. Hilarious!
There is plenty of scope for excitement, wherein you can pick your own personal routes to the battlefield. There's also the friendly Al, who isn't too high of help though. The firefight mode that was launched in the Halo 3: ODST offers a field for players to take on the Covenant forces. For those who wish to take a difficult task, you can also shield generators as you are killing Covenant, or can fight grunts that fling confetti around the air as you shoot them. Just by tweaking among the list of built in variants, you can customize the toughness of each enemy wave, the weapons, shields and also the strength of gravity. The game is but not only rich in content and in the strength of gravity that are thrown on the player. Reach is indeed on of the most effective and fully featured games available on console.
Critics are also gasping about Halo Reach, giving this game a solid 9.5 and 10. After all, this game was ten years in the making, so the story, the audio, and definitely the visuals will take your gaming experience on the new journey to a new like no other.
And, as I mentioned just before, the campaign is... nothing less than spectacular. It begins with the Covenant (a nasty alien race) invading Reach - our last refuge from the Covenant. While being our past refuge, it is also our own last hope. If Reach falls.. the human race falls.Ranks for halo reach
